We offer a stunning back drop for couples to create their dream wedding celebration and lifelong memories. Whatever your vision, we’re here to help you every step of the way, with exclusive access to our trusted Recommended Suppliers for a simple and uncomplicated planning process.
Every booking includes a dedicated and experienced Wedding Coordinator and a tailored Run Sheet for you and your vendors, ensuring your day is seamless while you and your loved ones relax and enjoy every moment!

The spectacular rustic Barn, the expansive lawns and the gorgeous outdoor covered Pavilion space, all conveniently close together with easy flat access. Both the Stables Barn and outdoor Pavilion are covered in flowering creepers and extensively decorated with sparkling fairy lights and festoon lights along with a cosy Fire Pit for those cooler evenings, creating a truly magical atmosphere.

Pride of place adjacent to The Stables Pavilion is the gorgeous 'Pearl', our 1972 Vintage Horse Float Bar, perfect for post Ceremony mingling and celebrations or all night long, in addition to our beautiful Vintage Bar space inside the Barn.

Make a grand entrance walking the magnificent 'Wisteria Walk’ Wedding Aisle to our majestic Ceremony Tree or perhaps our lovely natural bush ceremony space 'The Glade' might be more your style, in amongst the towering gums, lillies and ferns. Just a minute's stroll to the Venue is our fully renovated original Farm House for up to 10 guests which is perfect for bridal party, family or friends to hire and stay during your wedding festivities. Beautifully decorated in the same 'Coastal meets Modern Country' style and complete with both indoor and outdoor living and dining, a sunny North facing Tuscan inspired courtyard, a grapevine covered pergola, stone pizza oven, BBQ, pool table and fireplace.

Our Story
At The Stables of Somersby, we’re in the business of hosting stunning weddings.
​
Having been lucky enough to call this lovely property home for the last 20 years raising a family and breeding horses, Louise and her family have spent years creating this beautiful bespoke Barn and Venue space together.
With an emphasis on using recycled and upcycled building materials wherever possible whilst still retaining an elegant finish, the Barn was originally built to house horse stables, tack and feed. It has since been lovingly repurposed into The Stables beautiful venue space, full of elegant, rustic appeal and quality finishes with thought and attention given to every detail.

With a background in interiors, styling, and planning events, coupled with a long history of collecting unique treasures, The Stables creates a welcoming, relaxed and stunning family atmosphere that truly reflects the love and passion that has gone into creating it.
​
Since our opening in January 2018, we’ve given our couples an amazing wedding experience with the support and freedom to realise their vision, personalise their wedding day and create lifelong memories.
